Dear Cursillistas,

Hello again. My name is Lulu Hudkins. I am the new Lay Director of the Austin Diocese English Cursillo. Today we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is a time that we are reminded that on this day a child was born to save us from our sins. Conceived by the Holy Spirit and born to our Blessed Virgin Mary, Jesus Son of God through His life, death and resurrection purchased for us the rewards of eternal life. We as cursillistas lived our weekend and from that weekend we became more aware of the importance of building our relationship with Christ. The lessons that we took from the rollos all played a role in our understanding of the step-by-step movement that Eduardo Bonnin willed to all cursillistas. In our weekend we learned a deeper meaning of true Christianity and sharing our Christianity with others by making a friend, being a friend and bringing a friend to Christ. Today I want to take this time to wish all cursillistas a Merry Christmas. Please pray for all those who have lost loved ones feeling sad and lonely and experiencing the void of their loved ones who have left this earth. May we be reminded to not take for granted our own loved ones if we are able to celebrate together this joyous season.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

De Colores
